Finance Undergraduate Intern
Cisco’s Finance organization provides insight and analysis to guide the company’s strategic positioning. Cisco Finance professionals are valued as dynamic business leaders and drivers of shareholder value. Interns in the Finance Undergraduate Program will spend 10-12 weeks working on projects which will give them the opportunity to experience the dynamic environment of the Cisco Finance Organization.
The Finance Undergraduate internship program is designed for the participant to gain: Experience: Finance Undergraduate interns will be placed into a Finance role based on business need . Exposure: Located at corporate headquarters in San Jose, California, interns will work and interact with managers, cross-functional teams, and other Finance Undergraduate interns.
To conclude their internship, interns will summarize and present their personal learnings from their overall internship experience to the Finance leaders that have participated in the program.
Education: In addition to hands-on projects, interns are strongly encouraged to participate in training and business seminars often led by world-class subject matter experts. Cisco’s Finance Undergraduate Program is a two year program designed to develop future Finance professionals that are closely linked with the business strategy.
The Finance Undergraduate internship program serves as our primary pipeline for filling full-time positions. Typically candidates will be notified regarding internship offers within 72 hours of interviewing.
Desired candidates will have: Enrolled in a BA or BS program with a concentration in Finance Leadership skills and the ability to influence others Ability to deliver results Capability to take on increased work load and responsibilities in both scope and scale Learning agility to process information, apply new ideas, and change approach as necessary Desire to work towards increased responsibility and influence Ability to earn trust from multiple audiences and be acknowledged by peers as both effective and trustworthy Openness to listening to and acting on constructive feedback Ability to embrace change and work effectively with ambiguity Willingness to relocate to corporate headquarters in San Jose, California
