The Koch Associate Program is a challenging job opportunity for professionals who are passionate about
free-market ideas, and want to become more effective at advancing liberty throughout their careers.
The Charles G. Koch Charitable Foundation’s aim is to develop the capabilities of each Associate through
the program by providing management training, professional development, and the knowledge and skills
necessary to achieve their career potential.
This year-long, competitively paid, program based in Washington, D.C., offers each Associate the opportunity
to work full-time at a think tank, policy organization, or other non-profit organization, while also
learning and applying Market-Based Management in the non-profit sector.
One day of each work week is spent in a seminar setting at the Foundation immersed in Market-Based
Management (MBM ) – the management philosophy that enables an organization to succeed long term
by applying the principles that allow a free society to prosper. Associates engage in reading discussions
and group projects, network with their peers, learn from guest speakers, and apply MBM through interactive
exercises and workshops. This combination of practical work experience and educational components
creates a unique learning opportunity unparalleled in other development programs.

and come from many diverse fields and academic backgrounds.
