Ok. Let’s clear the air about Econ 41.
Econ 41 is the ONLY statistics course that fulfills the department’s requirement. ALL students in ALL three majors are required to complete the course.
If you have taken another stats course at UCLA or another institution, BEWARE!!!
UCLA grants a maximum of 4 (four) units of lower division stats credit. If you have taken another stats course and will enroll in 41 or have already completed it, check the bottom of your DPR under “unit deductions” to determine if the units have been deducted from your unit accumulation.
